  i have a friend of mine, who i have not talked to much for the last 5 years or so.

  nothing bad happened between us, just time goes by, and one loses touch a bit.

  i have known him for probably close to 14 years or so, and i have always considered him one of my favorite people.

  This is a great story to hear about.

  Yes, Gary Buss now that you bring it to my attention. It's really nice to see some whole families get out Dodge (so to speak). Very cool...

  I'm thrilled too, that I have made contact with at least one woman on here that I remember from so many years ago while I was in the J.W.'s . It is really neat.

  We are planning to get together in the near future and I'm just pleased as punch about that.

  I guess that out of all the rumour that floated around about my husband and I the one that hurt the most was:

  a couple of female J.W. friends that that were disfellowshiped some time after me was attributed to me, and I didn't have anything to do with them at the time. ..

  Sheesh.. Us apostates are some powerful, you knows. I must have sent those two old friends apostate satanic demonic thoughts through the airwave or something...

  i just got back late monday with the boy after a week and a half (a few pics and possible rundown may follow, for those with insomnia).

  the badger pup and i were getting ready to run some errands today when he chirped up.... "daddy, do you go to meetings?".

  a toughie...the look in his eyes was pure curiosity.

  you are right when you said,"He said one day while driving that the "End of the World freaks me out" and started to cry...what kind of bastard puts that horror into a five-year-olds mind?)

  Sounds like we need Gumby on this thread to describe this bastardized religion and the fear that they instill in not only adults.. but little children just like your little badger.

  Breaks my heart to know that little kids are being brainwashed with this stuff.

  Tender loving moments with your kids means alot. Very moving post Badger. (heart stuff)

  Woohoo... I had a great day in family court yesterday!!!

  my ex-wife and i were to start our custody/equalization trial yesterday but due to time constrictions we had a settlement conference instead and it is over!!!!!

  woohoo!!!!.

  financially, i will end up having to pay $5,000.00 more than what i should.. (only because my ex lied about a few things) but i get joint custody of the kids now.

  I could not have said it any better than you, girl.

  It's a vicious thing to have one's reputation smeared and rumors circulated that have absolutely no truth to them whatsoever and just grow and grow as they are passed from one person to the next and I don't want to see that happen to someone I care about.
